The Journey Begins

My name is Katie Joerg. Welcome to my blog! In 2012 I began this process. I was in a very difficult place in my life. I was having many challenges in my health that doctors could not find any solutions to. I had stopped teaching school which I had done for 12 years. I felt lost because my entire identity was wrapped up in teaching. My finances, marriage and relationship with God were rocky. Fortunately, I was in an environment where people were talking about their personal encounters with God. At this point I was desperate. Either God was real or he wasn’t. I needed change, healing, and direction for my life. I decided that every day I would sit and listen and wait for God to speak to me. The amazing thing was that he actually came. He talked to me in that still small voice and I wrote what he shared with me almost every day for an entire year. I want to share with you what some of the things that he showed me. I am just your average human person. I hold no honorary titles or degrees in theology or seminary. I do hope that my experiences with God will encourage you as you navigate your own. Here is day one of my journey with him.

All Aboard

Let’s go on a journey together.  Allow me to share my heart and clear up numerous misconceptions that many have believed about me.  Let me speak to you about my nature and communicate how much I love you, and desire nothing more than a close relationship with you.

The common tendency for people is to try to humanize me. Many often attempt to compare me to what you know, but I am not human. Basically many create their own religion and try to follow it, but I am not a religion. You must connect with me through your spirit. This is where faith comes into play. You choose to believe in me. You can learn about my nature but you will never understand me entirely.  My ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts. All that I ask is that you are open to me and are willing to come along with me on this journey. I will transform you and your mind  You will begin to really see me and learn who I am.

On this journey with me your life will be transformed. You will begin to see all things differently. Your mood and emotions will even change. Heaviness will fall off of you as you come away with me. I can wash away all the things that keep you from moving forward. I will cut the ropes that prohibit your balloon from rising.  This is an exciting time for you. It is a thrilling time for my children. I love you all so much that I am not allowing you to stay stuck in your distorted views of me. I am opening doors of fresh revelation and truth. People will experience me like never before in history. There will be no more question of my existence or power.  You can experience me in a tangible way. Heaven can truly come to earth.

I want to be needed and wanted. I desire for you to trust me with your life. I do not want you to be afraid or worry about tomorrow, because I am already there waiting for you. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Live in the moment, and enjoy the fresh grace that is extended to you each day. Do not dread your life or wish it away.  Awake each day and look for me. Every morning expect my presence to be with you. I promise to never leave you or forsake you. I promise to take care of you and meet your every need. Be assured that I am faithful and be confident in my goodness. My word does not return to me void, and it will accomplish that which I have sent it out to do. Work with me and not against me. Stop any attempts to fight me or try to create your own solutions. I am the answer to every problem, and am the key to every puzzle. Be confident in my love and who I am. Be certain that I am totally devoted and committed to you. I am dedicated to you one-hundred percent.

Come to me all who are weary and tired and I will give you my rest. Come to me all who are hurting and I will exchange your pain for my healing. I will take your humiliation and shame and give you a crown of honor to wear instead. Let me love you and restore all that has been lost or stolen. Allow me to take your worn out clothes and give you my robe of righteousness instead. Let me reveal my truth and set you free from your tangled web of lies. I desire nothing more than for you to be set free, and be released to discover who I am and who I have truly created you to be.

Simply let go of your notions of who you think I am. Throw away the god dictionary that you have constructed.  Make room for the truth and any religious thoughts will dissipate. Who do you think I am?  Relax. I am not condemning you or trying to bring any guilt. All I am saying is that you should throw out your old ways of thinking about me. Be open to me redefining what you believe about me and who you think I am. Fall back into my arms and allow me to catch you. Rest in my stillness and enjoy your voyage. Be excited! All of my children can go on daily excursions with me. Travel light, and leave behind all of your bags that contain preconceived notions and beliefs. Discard the suitcases full of religious thinking and intellect. The train is now leaving the station. I am calling out to my children “all aboard”.
