If you like me have every wondered if God is cruel or causes bad things to happen, than this third blog entry is for you.

There is No Glass Ceiling

There is no glass ceiling. There are no walls that I have put up to keep you out. I do not push my children away from me. I am the one who is often shoved away. I long to be close to my beloved. Heaven and earth are closer together than you realize. I am not far away from you. I am right beside you and always have been.  I have never left you, and I never will. I am dependable and you can count on me. I will not disappoint you. I will not abandon you. I am kind and generous. I am extravagant with my giving. I do not have expectations of my children. I am not disappointed in you. My love is not based on behavior. It is not based on what you say or do. No matter what someone does, I never remove my love. My love is a gift and it is given expecting nothing in return.

I am not angry with you. I am not sorry that you were born. You cannot disappoint me because I have no expectations of you! I am already aware of what you are going to do so how can I have expectations? Expectations come out of   anticipation that one will perform to please. I do not want you to perform for me. I desire for you to be free to be who I have created you to be. I love everything about you. You bring me so much pleasure. I am satisfied in who you are, not in the things you say, or how you choose to behave. I always hope for your best and strive to give you gifts that will bring you as much pleasure as you bring me.

Confidently stand on my foundation. Trust in my enormous sovereignty and dominion. Believe that I rule and reign. Speak to the mountains in your way as if they are mere pebbles. Step over obstacles as if they were only grains of sand. Choose to always see me and not focus on your problems. The larger I become in your life the smaller the obstacles will become. The key to spiritual warfare is recognizing whose side you are on and concentrating on the power that has been given to you through my name.

One of the biggest tricks of the enemy is that he attempts to make you feel like you are defeated. He being the master manipulator makes things appear worse than they really are. He loves to bring discouragement and hopelessness. He loves to bring depression. He goes to great measures to cause people to forget or never learn who they really are. If he can keep you under the dark clouds of despair, sorrow, and guilt than he can cause you to be ineffective.

I created my children to be part of the adventure. They are not meant to be the adventure. I love to move through you. I like to show you and others my power.  This is more than one way that I can prove that I am real. People can do more than just read about me. They can experience me and my power. I am real, and I want to prove that over and over again.

I do not want people to disbelieve in my existence. I do not want you to doubt me or my abilities. I do not want others to question my loyalty and love. My heart breaks when I am blamed for things that I had no part in. It makes me so sad when I am given credit for the horrific things that the enemy does. I have been so misrepresented and misinterpreted! I am not mean. I am not vindictive or revengeful. I do not take pleasure in people being hurt or sick! My heart breaks for my children. It bleeds with compassion and tenderness. I am full of mercy and goodness. I love to shower gifts and blessings on my creation. I love to bring fascinating surprises and rescue the lost. My heart is full of love because I am love. Everything that I do stems out of love. Cruelty goes against my nature!  Hatefulness goes against all that I am! I am patient and kind. I am long suffering. I wait with expectation for my children to return to me. I celebrate life and new beginnings. I celebrate new births and positive changes. I laugh and cry. I am not distant. I am right in the trenches with you. I am fighting on your behalf and I never give up hoping. I can be as real as one desires me to be. The closer you get to me your appetite for insignificant earthly things will pass away. The closer you get to my glory the more you will be transformed into my image and the more others will want what you have. The best evangelist simply just lives and allows their life to mirror me. I am magnetic and electric. I am alive and always moving. I am always doing something new. My life is not mundane or boring and neither does yours have to be. Come along with me on this great adventure to set the captives free. Come with me to open the prison doors of those bound in pain and darkness.

I want to teach my children about my nature. I want you to know me so intimately that you automatically notice my handy-work and recognize when it isn’t. I do not want you to be lead astray by any imposter. I long to be so close to you that you can feel my heartbeat and understand that it only beats for you my beloved. I created you so that I could love you. I designed you so that I can open my heart and pour out my loving kindness. I long to shower you with blessings that will overwhelm you. I desire to heal and restore you to your former glory. I want to know you and be known by you.

I will help you discover who you really are. I will make a way to remove the burdens that you often carry of insecurity, shame, and fear. I can lift the heaviness and weights that stem from the regrets of your past. Choose my yoke today, and exchange my burden for yours. My burden is easy and my yoke is light. Allow my presence to wash over you and rinse away the mud from the soil of this world. Let me mold and shape you; to round off the rough edges and replace them with softer ones. Grant me permission to take your clay and shape you into the image of my son. I will allocate many resources in order to make this important and invaluable process possible. I will use my means not yours. This transformation is not dependent upon your possessions or abilities. All that I require is for you to rest and prostrate yourself into a position that will allow change to take place in you.  Come away with me and allow the power of my love to bring total and complete transformation.
